About Gable & Post
Gable & Post designs barndominium house plans and sells the construction drawings as downloads, for $1,399 a plan set. We have been publishing since 2026.
What we sell
Drawings. A complete plan set you can take to a builder for pricing and to your county for a permit application. Nothing else ships, and there's nothing to install.
What we don't sell
- We do not sell steel, lumber or building kits.
- We are not a builder, contractor or project manager.
- We do not stamp or seal drawings as a licensed architect or engineer.
Why our prices are public
Kit suppliers and builders usually hide prices behind a quote form, because a published price binds them. We sell information, not construction, so we can publish researched price ranges with the assumptions written down. Every number on this site links to where it came from on our data and methods page.
